Thank you so much for this response! In the meantime I am searching for a good mentor, but no luck in finding one yet

Hopefully I can find one soon. There is a lady at work who I am friends with that fosters rescue dogs, and trains them n such. She said she has been to dog shows before. She is the closest thing to me finding a mentor thus far.
