 Weight gain since getting new furbaby
Hello Everyone....I have had Pepe since he was 16 weeks old and since turning one years old he stayed at a steady weight of 4.5lbs. 2 weeks ago my husband suprised me with a female yorkie who is about his age they will be both be two in march. The problem is I have been feeding them both the same amount I have always feed him but he now attacks his food and eats every drop right away (he used to pick at it for about an hour) he went from 4.5 to 6lbs in about week.
I am worried he feels he has to eat right away because he thinks she will eat it and she has been devouring hers too. Is this normal and will they clam down eventually? |
