Congrats on the beautiful babies. I am so glad that they have arrived safe and sound. You are going to have to watch your girl very closely for eclampsia, four is a big litter. When one of my girls had to get calcium my vet told me she couldn't nurse for 24 hours after the shot (I don't know why exactly, maybe one of the other breeders knows). Luckily, I had another litter just 18 hours previous and I was able to get that mom to nurse the babies. I have also had a girl who was totally terrified of her babies and would only nurse them or stay with them if I sat with her (I had to force her to let them nurse, she would lay flat on her tummy). After a couple of days she accepted them to nurse and I think she loved them but remained timid with them right through till weaning. After weaning, she was only too happy to let one of the other girls take over with training them, and I have one bossy girl who thinks all babies should be hers and she is very good with them. Get some rest and spend some time with your skin-kids but keep a good watch on Laynee, she is not out of the woods yet.
