| letter from champion pet foods regarding their supply. Hello Terri, Thank you for your email. Over the past month, ACANA & ORIJEN sales have vastly exceeded expectations. This has created a temporary backlog and has put our production team behind schedule, resulting in shortages and delays to our distribution partners. Unlike traditional or conventional pet foods, ACANA & ORIJEN are produced using low temperature cooking in small batches with FRESH (never frozen) local ingredients. While this is what is ideal for dogs and cats, it does make it more difficult to get ahead when the demand exceeds expectations. With that said, it may take a couple of weeks before you see improvement in supply. Keeping up with demand is important to us however maintain the integrity of our products is our first priority, so we will not compromise the quality of our products to full shelves. We have increased staff, production time, warehousing and efficiencies in our factory to ensure product is shipping out as soon as possible. You should start to see improvement within a couple of weeks.
