I would also suggest the Fromm brand - no beat pulp! When I used to feed kibble they were really one of my favorites - and they have two retailers in Grand Prairie that carry their lines (so you should be able to get samples too!)

Personally, I've always adored that they use 100% human grade protein and they are very dedicated to quality. Winston's stomach is a bit picky and we tried a lot of the premium brands around here, Fromm was the one of the few brands we tried that.... actually smelled good and I understood why he was attracted to it! I've only seen the "four star" line around where I live, but it all had the nice small kibble size.
