Wow that poor girl and your friend. I have heard of this happened before whelping too. I hope she improves and delivers safely.

Please before you breed KNOW the unexpected can happen even if the bitch has delivered before...this is this bitches second litter and this has never happpend. BE PREPARED!!!!! It's been a long exhausting couple of days for my friend!!! Mary...by the way....the whelping pudding is helping extremely in this case!!!
