 solid blonde

I have been researching yorkies like crazy, and I started out wanting the original pure bred classic tan and blue/silver yorkies. But after coming across a breeder that had a blondie I became obsessed with having a blonde yorkie. So I read up on them, and if you ever wanted to put your dog in competitions she would be disqualified because of her "unoriginal coloring". I also read that if a dog is any other color than the classic tan and blue/silver than it has to be because the breeder didnt have a pure yorkie, whether it was the mom or dad. Even those party yorkies that go for so much money are considered to be not pure bred and would be disqualified in any competition. Knowing how I am I thought this was going to change my mind about wanting a blonde yorkie, but it didnt, I dont plan on competing with my dog at all, I just want her for myself. So to answer your question, your dog is that color because either her mom or dad wasnt a pure bred yorkie, heck, it could have even been her grandma or grandpa that wasnt pure bred. To me it doesnt matter, the blonde ones are as beautiful as the "original colored" yorkies. I cant wait to get mine! |
