You have all my thoughts and prayers ! I wish you and your daughter all the best with the surgery - this has be one of the hardest things you'll ever go thru
I don't know how old your daughter is but I knew someone who had her leg amputated when she was very young and she grew up never letting it stop her. I was a diver for years and remember her on the diving board. She'd take off her prosthesis and just go for it. It was pretty amazing.
