Skin so soft is good for fleas and mosquitos to a certain extent because of the idea that "they can't smell" them. It covers up the natural odor that makes us attractive.
Honestly, I don't see how it would cure earmites or deter them. The most effective way to really treat them would be to just smoother them (like dawn does to fleas) and I've usually seen mineral oil being most effective for that.
Wouldn't soap dry the ears out, bother the skin and give the earmites more to burrow and have fun in?
