I have to say, that when I was a kid, my dog ate two large boxes of Christmas chocolates that were wrapped and under the tree. We came home to paper everywhere and all the chocolates gone. She threw up a few times and looked a little green but was completely fine. I think she would have thrown up if she had eaten that much of just about anything.
So though I would never give my dog now any chocolate or suggest it is fine for dogs(I am sure it is not) I have to wonder why my first dog was perfectly fine. Perhaps there is more exaggeration to the chocolate issue or some breeds can just tolerate it, I don't know. Just thought I would share.
