Wow she has gained alot, I think your vet is wrong, I do not think they are early not if you picked her up Oct 1. Even if breed on the 30th of sep. they would be 63 days. So right on time. Sounds like more than three by that weight gain. Sassy has only gained 8oz with 2 pups which she the vet claims they are big. The most the pups could be my guess on sassy is 3-3.5oz, you could have up to 5 it sounds like.
