3. Bottle feed the puppies and then once they have full tummies and don't want to nurse any more, she can be with them (with the onsie) so that she clean them and bond with them.
4. Do not give goats milk = water because it will cause scours, sent us home with some puppy replacement formula.
5. We can start the weaning process at 4 weeks old.
6. We are to continue with the calicum tablets and once they are gone they are going to put her on vitamins with extra iron.
7. Do not breed her again for at least 1 1/2 years.

I need some help and advice on this one. Any is greatly appreciated.
The goats milk = water I do not agree with. Per my repro vet, Goats milk is the closests things to mother's milk (97%). Just Born replacement milk causes premature cataracs. What I did notice once I changed over to Goats Milk, the pups began gaining very quickly, where with the Mother's Replacement milk, I was going backwards.....showed my vet what I was giving and he went balistic. He's a repro vet. And why I wasn't using Goats Milk when my breeder/mentor had advised me to use it. Smart me, I thought I was being progressive, going with the times....things had evolved. I did google searches and called my breeder/exhibitor friends, everyone uses Goats Milk.

I'd worry about letting her nurse.......The calcium pills I agree with.

Per experience, pups can lap at 3 weeks. I usually let my pups do it whether they are nursing or not. Just to give mom a break.....maybe once a day.
