With Lexie the vet told me it was to close to call, so I went with c-section they were 3 oz each. The next time I breed her the vet said maybe "we" jumped the gun, and let her try it this time, I had to rush her in for a emergency c-section, so I would say go and do it, if there is a chance she may not be able to have them by herself, you are better off going ahead and doing it, then wait and see like I did.
