If it's a close call, go for it.....even posting the x-rays, will not give you a better decision than your vet's trained one.

Here's another thing to consider; with one up and one down. The one up, because of the close call can get it's head caught in mom's pelvic bone, and an emergency c-section may have to be performed anyway.
