I am beside myself right now. I just took sassy to the vet, she is 67 days by the first breeding and 65 days by the second breeding. This morning she tried to throw up while taking her temp. and was shaking, that stoped. The vet did an oral exam and said she has not dialated yet. She had taken one side xray that showed 2 pups. One going down and the other up. And she said due to the fact that she is only having two and they were not so small, looks around 3 to 3.5 ounce pups that they might have to go c-section. Sassy usually weighs 5.2lbs today 6lbs. Temp is 98.8, She said she has done alot of csections in yorkies with one or two pups because they get bigger, and to hard to deliver. I am not sure what to do. I have her home now and she acts fine. Even ate some. Should I let her go and see what happens or take her in today for a csection. After 7 it is emergency room, higher dollars. And one hour drive away, so I am beside my self not sure what to do, cause she could have them on her own. What would you ladies do!!!
