Yes, Captain Noonie is correct.
It also helps to give benadryl about an hour before shots.
As the shot tend to make some dog really sick.
A little piece of baby aspirin is good afterwards for fever from the shots.
But, check with your vet as to how much to give.
Never get annual and rabies at the same time as it’s to hard on them.
Best to space them out at lease 1 month apart.
And Never let the Vet give a shot where the hair will part on the top of the back because sometimes the shots can cause a bald spot at the injection site
