Default My Yorkie is acting very different the past couple of months. Help!

We have two Yorkies. Our male, Kilo is 2 yrs old and our female, Yaby is 14 months old. Our male has been acting so weird for the past couple of months. We house trained him when he was very young and he would never go pee on the carpet, just on his pads. Lately he has been peeing on the floor, right by the pad or going somewhere in the house and peeing where he can't be seen. They are also both crate trained but sometimes he pees or poops in his crate, and sometimes when it is time to go in the crate, he refuses. We make sure to reward them for good behavior, like when they go in the crate, we give them a small treat. But he just runs away now and refuses to go in the crate, treat or not. Then when we get him in the crate, he won't stop barking. Our female is fine, no problems.

He just seems like he became stubborn overnight. The only thing that changed is that we had our female spayed a few months ago and that may be about the same time he has been acting different.

Do you have any advice or suggestions for us? Thank you in advance!
