Whenever you post a comment on a thread, you become subscribed to that thread. Then, whenever someone else posts another comment to the thread, you will receive a notification. If you want to delete your subscription to a thread and stop receiving the e-mails, then go to "User CP" on the menu bar. The santa suit kids will be one of your subscriptions. To delete it you just need to select the box next to the thread's name and Under "folder controls" select delete subscription.

I think that is what you mean at least.
