First of all your 8 week little girl is much too young to be playing with a 7 month old pup. She shouldn't even be away from her mother yet. She's just been weaned from her mother and prone to hyperglycemia.....should be sleeping more than anything else, with short periods of play.
Now to answer your question. It depends on how you introduced her to your boy pup. But, it will take awhile before they are use to each other and bond. He's been the focus of your life, you've brought in another pup.......
