Banfield is notorious for this. I still have Uni's chart/receipt from her first visit to them. She was only 6 months old and this is what they suggested I do:
rabies 1x yr (this was ok)
distemper parvo 3x yr
bordetella 1x yr
corona 2x yr
giardia 2x yr
lyme disease 2x yr

(these last 4 from what I understand are not needed unless there are risk factors to give them)

IN THAT ONE DAY! My bill would have been over $400 (and that was a "wellness" visit)

I hope you can do something. Yes do not give up quietly. If you can at least stop one person from using them, that's better than nothing. I feel so bad for you. I don't really know what to say.
