oh lord...this brings back such sad memories. My beautiful Cocker Tessa was almost 15 when my husband died....She had chronic ear problems - many many vet visits but after he died she went into mourning - wouldn;t eat and walked thru the house crying and moaning. It was heartbreaking. I took her in 3 times before I could actually make that decision and cant tell you how much it hurt. It still does. But when a pet is suffering and in pain it't time to show our love and do what is best for them. I know how hard the decision is. They wanted to do ear surgery but at her age they said it was a small chance it would work and she would suffer every day. When she lost 5 pounds I knew I had to make that decision but still had a hard time going thru with it.....

I know she's with her daddy now....that's the only thing that got me through it. I lost them 4 months apart and it devestated me.....

I still miss her terribly - she was the best kissing girl and a total sweetheart her whole life....and she did have a good life - this I know.

Please know you've done all you can to give her love and security and when that day comes - she will be pain free and happy. I truly believe we will see them again.

All the best and sending hugs.
