I asked the age question on this poster because they are asking many basic questions in other threads. You are a breeder and of course look at things differently than someone who has been involved with rescue. Until the breeders of this country can figure out how to end the useless slaughter of millions of animals every year in the shelters then you have a responsibility to educate people who are thinking of breeding or insure oops don't happen.
I must admit I am fairly new to owning my OWN dog, but I am not new to the dog world. I have don't a fair amount of research on this topic, and have come to the conclusion that it is just as much the choice of the owner to neuter or not neuter, just as it is their choice to rescue or not rescue. Are you going to guilt trip the people who DIDN'T rescue their dogs too?
