Oh thanks. Things will look up once we get out of here!!! My BIL took out a loan for us (he has impeccable credit), so he has offered the slumlord a lump sum to try to get our way out of here. He previously had said no b/c he knew we didn't have the money, but now that we do from the loan, we have a bit more bargaining power now. Hopefully we will get out by Jan.
