When I first started out, I was dilligent about taking temps. However, my first whelp her temp never went down. All I did was upset her, taking her temp 3 times a day. As the temp has to remain down for 24 hours, giving you a good indication that whelping time is upon you. My feeling is, that it will happen when it happens.......somewhere between day 58 of your first breeding and day 63 of your last. In your case I know you don't know when that happened, since your girl came to you with pups.......
