I have not travelled with Chase yet but I know that I would without a doubt keep him with me under the seat. I understand that you are concerned about him getting upset and flipping out with the barking but I would rather be there with him to console him then let him be all alone and upset. If your baby barks..whines...whatever... It's a three hour flight and people will have to just deal with it. I've been on 6-8 hour flights with human babies crying and screaming the entire time. Nobody can say anything and if they do just ignore them. You've got to do what is in the best interest of your baby. I think that all the suggestions here sound great and I would ask the vet which ones he suggests you do. If it were me....I'd be selfish and not care what other people say or do. You do what you need to do to make sure that your baby is safe and feels as comfortable as possible. I wish you a safe flight.
