Riot is about a week shy of being a year old and he's started doing this, as well as forgetting his manners and some tricks. Just poops inside though, hasn't started peeing inside. I talked to the trainer at PetCo when I was in there the other day and she said at his age, he's like a stubborn rebellious teenager.
She said to keep working with him on everything and the phase should pass and he should start behaving again. But I agree about distractions or maybe being afraid of something outside could be causing him to not want to go outside.
