We don't always pick him up when he whines. today I did because my husband had played with him and let him out of his cage when he came off night shift. I was still sleeping. He came into our room to wake us up. From the minute i got out of bed until we got to the dog park (including when we just got home! NOW!) he was/is still whining. I can't take him anywhere, I can't be with him at home anywhere... That was his first walk of the day... So him whining at him while my husband was trying to sleep? not cool. I was trying to keep him quiet! Ignoring was not working!!
He often gets the "NO WHINING!!!" & "QUIET" yell from us. The same tone as "No Barking" Sometimes we'll come out with SHUT UP! I hate saying it, but some days I am at the end of my rope- whining wise.
do you think yelling "No whining" and "Quiet!" gives him attention to whine more?
It seems we're always telling him to be zip it. lol
