You can buy stuff for ear mites at most pet stores.But it is really a long process that route.I would wait and have the vet check your furbaby.What they give you will be one dose and maybe since he just got them they will just give you Revolution ( a flea and heartworm preventative)that works on earmites too.They will also have you pluck the hair in his ear out.
