He does jump up, but he's not playing with 2-3 pound Yorkie's either. I don't often see Yorkies at the dog park, and it's very rare i do. I mean small dogs as in the 5-7 pound range (or more, but Derby normally stands taller).

Maybe it's ME. I'm almost 30, married, and Derby gets out a lot to play and run around. He's youthful, like us.
Some of the dogs seem like sissy's. (no offense to those out there!) and I don't understand why no one wants to play with him. |
I understand what you mean. Jackson loves to play, run, and wrestle and often gets irritated with tiny little dogs who won't even run or acknowledge his presence, lol. He's a total dogs dog and enjoys a good adventure. I think that's why he loves Nala so much because she's the first dog under 5lbs who gives it right back to him! LOL. She holds her own, wrestles him back!
