Just got back from the Vets (second opinion). First thing she said was, if there's no pain then there's no reason to operate. If it aint broke don't fix it. Needless to say we're changing to this vet. The other was just too knife happy to suit me. Thanks to all of you for your concerns and thanks for the advice.
