I can tell you honestly that all the years I have worked for a vet clinic we have SEVERAL times docked tails on dogs that were older then the 3-5 days old and it was never a issue, but it was also not a dog that I have become to love and is a part of my family.. I have also seen yorkies win their class with a full tail.. My girls were NOT so called bargins, they come from excellent lines and from a reputable show breeder!! I take pride in my dogs and their lines and do NOT bargin shop for show or breeding prospects!
