Another tip, get excited when she pees outside... I mean really excited! You want her to know she did the right thing. Associate a word with doing the business. I personally used "pee". I'd take Lexi outside, ask her to "go pee", once she did I would get congratulate her by getting really excited, giving her a rubdown and occasionally treats while saying "good pee".
