Tomorrow will be a rough day for sure. We started a tradition to feed the homeless and then we return home to have thanksgiving here. This year my husband and kids will go and I will stay home cooking. My emotions are too fragile and last year I cried a bit serving all those families. They kept talking to me and thanking me for volunteering to serve them.
My daughter just texted me asking if I mind if she invited a co worker to come over with her two kids for Thanksgiving becaues they are about to be homeless and move into a shelter. I said of course. No one else is coming this year and I'm sure I will have more than enough for 3 more people. That truly breaks my heart. The coworker I guess seems shy or embaressed and said no thank you, that they will figure it out. Things are really tough right now for many people,myself included but being worried over hot meal on Thanksgiving is something that should not happen.
Give all your furbabies a big hug and kiss from us. Enjoy your thanksgiving.
