Unfortunately, it can take a while to find the right meds, and it can take a while to find the right therapist. And of course when you're depressed, it's even harder to stick with it and find what will work for you.

I'm glad you are going to try a new counselor. I don't know your situation, but I actually think it's a good sign if your husband wants to go to marriage counseling. Usually it's the wife dragging in the husband. Again, you DO need someone good, and a good counselor will not "side" with one partner against the other. With the right person, it can have huge benefits for your relationship. Please try to stay strong and keep looking for the help you need. You really sound like you are in a lot of pain. It doesn't have to be that way.
