Does anyone know if the parasite giardia will affect my yorkies growth rate? When I got her she was pretty small, 2lbs and 5 months old. Will the giardia stunt my yorkie's growth or will she make up for growing time that was lost? Also any information on giardia would be helpful. She is not infected with it anymore, but does it still have repercussions after the fact?
On another note... Does anyone know an approximate time when she will go into heat? She is now 7 months old and weighs 3lbs.
