The Snoozers are very comfortable and since they are tethered and cannot roam, usually they will lie down and get settled in. The added benefit is they are higher up and can see out the windows even while reclining. They do provide a great measure of safety. Crates can be dangerous even if buckled into a seat belt as the pup will be thrown inside the crate if in an accident. If the crate isn't buckled in, then the crate risks becoming a flying object (a double whammy to your pup inside).
