Firstly, how wonderful to have such a dependable, loving husband. Secondly, your dogs are probably mad at you. That can take some time for them to get over. Your guilt will make you want to do things that you know better than to start doing. Give them time and love and they WILL come back around to you once they know you are back to stay. They are sensitive little buggers.
