This is interesting. Good information. I think so many suffer from this. Fleas are very difficult to find on a dog unless it's a total infestation. My groomer told me that she was pretty sure Roxie has an allergy to fleas. She said it's from the flea saliva and some dogs just have a horrible reaction to it. I've been keeping her as flea free as possible and making sure my cats are treated too. As soon as we hit about 3 weeks, here comes the fleas again. I can't believe it's November and we've had a couple of light frosts and still having fleas. I think it's a bad year because of all the rain. I will keep fighting them and I will win. I feel so bad for these dogs having to deal with this. I can't imagine how it feels to have those things crawling on me and biting me too. Just 1 or 2 fleas on Roxie will make her crazy. Thank you Jenny for the information. It's something for all to consider.
