Wellness isn't the only company out there that uses USDA certified human grade proteins. Off the top of my head... Halo, Flint River Ranch, Canidae, Fromm, and The Honest Kitchen are just some of them. There are a ton of them out there! I strongly advise that you read up on the sticky about food grading in the health and diet section. There is a good list that tells you how to grade food - and looking at that list is a great place to base learning off of. There are a lot of opinions about food... so what I really recommend you do is take a look at that list and what it awards points for and deducts points for. Think about what those things are and how you feel about them. Google a few of em maybe if you have to or want to. Then decide what you do or don't feel comfortable having in your dog's food.
Nutro's not a great company a lot of us have faith in - they've had some quality control issues in the past. I would suggest that you consider looking around and thinking about purchasing another high quality food - in part largely because at the price you're paying you can afford another brand with better quality control and less issues. You might even find you spend less! Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Halo, Natural Balance and Solid Gold are a couple good high quality foods that are really starting to be stocked by a lot of the chain pet food stores. Your options might really open up more if you take a look at what else might be around you (like feed stores, or use the "find retailer" links on some of the manufacturer websites) or by ordering off the net.
