Hi,
I am no breeder but when I brought Pixie home she was 8 weeks old and I gave her 1/4 of a cup of dry moistend kibble 4 times a day and at night I made sure that she had dog food in her crate.
She would never eat all of it so I would let her snack when she was hungry.
Now she is 14 weeks and I give her about 1/4 cup 3 times a day and she eats it all. I still give her food and water in her crate. When Pixie came home she weighed 1.3 lbs and now she weighs 2.7 lbs. I wanted to make sure she never got hypoglycemic.
I don't know how much your baby weighs now. I just think the amount of food the breeder reccommended seems too little to me.
