I know I have to take some time for myself and my family. I have never been a very religious person even though we grew up pentecostal. But I just feel this strange feeling of some kind of relief. I talked to my mom today and she told me that she is praying and she feels in her heart that he is with someone and ultimately Cookie will be returned. She said she's been constantly thinking of Cookie and she just prayed and told God that she is leaving it in his hands and that she was going to read the bible for some guidance. She tells me she opened the bible and the verse said something like " And God will return them to their home" something like that in the book of Ezekial. She just closed the bible and thanked God and left it at that.
Today I spoke to the manager for the Grooming section of PetCo by our house. She had a long talk with me and wrote down info about Cookie behind his flyer. She said they have a scanner and will scan any Yorkie that comes in. She had a dog stolen years ago and knows the devastation.
I went to another area near us 1-2 miles away and taped the flyer to each door and talked to lots of people. About half have mentioned that they've seen my street signs and are keeping their eyes peeled. I dont know how I knocked on so many doors today but it was a lot of homes ,maybe 100 or more.
I am just going to go out tonight with my hubby to tack our flyers on many trees at our Walmart. So each stop sign in or out will have a flyer.
Then I am going to stay home for at least a day. I need to take care of my family. By this time every year my entire house is decorated.None of that has happened.
