Also a little tip, don't pick her up under her arms. Just kind of scoop her little butt up with one hand and the other under the arm. You don't want to stretch her little belly. That would hurt, and possibly rip stitches inside.

Thanks so much for the tip on how to pick her up! I was sitting here wondering about that. I certainly don't want to hurt her and I was trying to think what would be most comfortable. I'm going with your plan.
