I heard back from the vet and now I'm worried all over again. She said she is in a lot of pain and they don't normally see them in so much pain so soon after surgery. So what is that supposed to mean??? Is something else wrong that they aren't aware of? She made it seem like it wasn't a big deal so maybe I'm reading too much into it but I'm still SCARED!!!!!!
My two girls were both spayed at about 6 months and my fragile little yorkie came home the same day and never seemed fazed. Now my boston mix, who is a much sturdier girl came home the same day too, but was in a bad way for three days. Same vet did both surgeries, she just said that each dog reacts differently, you just cannot predict. I am sure she will be just fine. When can you bring her home? Maybe she just needs her Mom?
