She should come home with the e-collar already on. I just kept clothes on Missy and she would leave the incision alone, that way she didn't need the collar.

I know how anxious you feel. I clearly remember going through this with Missy, and now I'll have to go through it with my new baby girl in 4 months. My only suggestion to you is try not to let her know that you are worried. She will sense that, and you want her to be as calm as possible. Save the anxiety to vent to us after you've dropped her off.

Hoping that all goes well (I'm sure it well) and please keep us updated!
