My dog was found on the street, apparently was trained to relieve themselves in the yard until I found a tick I was freaked, so I decided not to take her out again, then I noticed she pee in the same place in the livingroom. I bought the pads and put it in that area, at first she did it on the side but now that's the only thing she use.
