Found Yorkie in Chicago - missing one year? The post below is from Craigslist in Chicago. Sad that it took so long for all of these people to do the right thing.
"We have a Male Yorkie that we found in March. Neighbors had him for about 3 months and were going to take him to shelter and he ran away. We found him in our yard. He has been missing for about a year. We have had him for about 7 months. He need his real owners. He comes to the name we call him and he is very sweet but he needs more attention and more bathroom trips outside. I hope his original owners dont give up. He was originally "found" by Fullerton and Cicero. We found him by Harlem and Diversey.
He had no collar and no microchip. I recently got him microchipped and he got a 1 year rabies shot. The vet thinks he is 6 to 8 years old. He has a distinguishing hair like feature . He is beige tan and grey. I know that is a typical color pattern for a Yorkie."
She's trying very hard to find the dog's real owner now - I'll be glad to forward her contact information to anyone who thinks that he could be their baby.
