She is just a baby and really 9 weeks is very, very young. How long did the gandchildren play with her? I would not worry what so ever about 2 hours.

In regards to nights do you have a table right next to your bed so you can put her in her crate but she is right by you? Yorkies are companion animals and do not like to be apart and she is scared and lonely. Some people have even put the crate in their beds but then everyone gets to sleep.
