You are not alone. I'm in the SAME situation.
I have her for 8 months, she was very independent, but just about 3 weeks ago, her personality changed tremendously, she started to cry, bark, growl when I'm out of her sight, especially at night, she just bark (bark, not cry) until I come out from the bedroom and grab her.
I tried many ways until I found one which works for us. I put her on my laps every night around 8pm, when she's sleepy or tend to sleep, I would wake her up, play with her. This continues until she gets very tired and sleepy, I'll put her on her bed, switch off the light. She opens her eyes and see no one, she'lll bark, but it's only for 1 or 2 minutes, then she would falls asleep (she's too sleepy lol!) |
