With him being little it might be too much for him to breed everyday. I usually just let them breed every other day and sometimes I might breed once and then skip two days if the first tie was a little early. How much does you little guy weigh? If he has been off his food he may be hypoglycemic. I know I read one YT where one person almost lost their little guy from breeding him because he got hypoglycemia while trying to breed a female. Sperm can live up to 5 days so even if you do not get another tie it is very possible she could still get pregnant.
