Nancy-if the product from his hair were to accidently get in his eyes, would it harm him? I know you said human hair gel could, but I'm assuming petsilk would be ok right?
I think since it's made for dogs, the individually ingredients have probably been tested at some point, when they did lots of animal testing, but I can't say that that the product as a whole has been tested, and most people don't even like that when it has been tested. I just know that Joey never had a problem with it. It only holds for one day and in the morning the hairs back in his eyes. I agree with Mardelin about putting the topknot lower on the head, and some people use two bands, one lower and one higher. I haven't tried the Cindra Sculpting Gel, but now I'm curious! This website shows the two band method of making a topknot, and this helps when growing the hair out. Casual Way to Put Dog Bows In
